The watermelon with a Tajín label is a concept that emerged on social media, especially on platforms like TikTok, where images and videos went viral showing watermelons with labels indicating they were “seasoned” with Tajín on the inside. Tajín is a well-known brand for its chili, lime, and salt seasoning, very popular in Mexico and other parts of the world.
However, these watermelons are not real in the sense that they are not naturally seasoned with Tajín on the inside. What happened is that some people started labeling watermelons with Tajín stickers as a joke or a viral marketing campaign, but the watermelons do not actually contain the seasoning mixed within their flesh.
Therefore, there is no watermelon that naturally grows with Tajín inside. If someone wants to enjoy watermelon with Tajín, they would need to cut it and season it manually, just like with any other food.
